Adopt Sketches

So I've got a few ponies I've adopted at various times in the past, and I haven't drawn enough of them.  So I decided to do some sketches of them and give some basic information about them and what my plans are for them.

I really like the rough sketch and shading style for these, I may experiment with and upcoming comic page and see how they look in that format.

Purple Farmer originally adopted from  

I don't yet have a name for this gal, but one things for certain; I love her hair!  Seriously, this girl has got one of my most favorite hairstyles I've ever seen on a pony.

Now she is going to be one of Azalea Maize's many relatives.  I don't know yet if I'm going to make her a sister-in-law or the eldest niece.  Either way, once I get to Azalea's backstory, she will make her debut.

Expresso originally adopted from

Now Expresso here is originally a fusion of two different OCs, however I don't know their personalities so I've come up with something of my own.

She's a baker within the town of Withervale (the main location for the AOSoL story) running the most popular bakery in town, (Name pending).  She's a fairly positive mare, though she is a klutz on her hooves, and has trouble staying balanced.  To compensate for this she usually has her wings half extended to help her keep steady.  She also uses her wings to pass out backed goods.

Winter Fashonista originally adopted from

This gal also lives in Withervale, and is one of the few fashion designers in town.  Her specialty is winter fashion, though she is also skilled with fall outfits, and proficient in other seasonal wear.  She always keeps up her appearance, and though she always makes an effort to smile, she can get easily offended or aggravated by "fashionably challenged" ponies.

Ice Bloom is originally adopted from  

I have actually drawn Ice Bloom a few times already, but I really like her and she hasn't had much drawing time.

Ice Bloom is originally from Manehatten, she moved to Canterlot to pursue her dream of professional Ice Skating.  She travels with her loyal arctic fox companion Mint (may change the name later).  Bloom is a graceful skater, leaving her audiences in awe by her performances.  She is prone to daydreaming and flights of fancy, though Mint helps to keep her grounded and level headed.  She really likes glittery outfits.

She will play a major role in my upcoming revamp of Forest's backstory.
